Permanent, Zero Hours 

We are looking for an outstanding and well-qualified teacher to join our team. This post is part-time and involves undertaking preparation, teaching, reporting and other associated work. It is based on a teaching timetable of 20 lessons, 35 minute lessons   per week with flexibility to teach up to 26 lessons per week by arrangement. 

We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm, skills and commitment to build on the success that our team is currently enjoying at Bedales. Candidates should hold Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching students with SEND or SpLD. The ability to play an effective part in a team and build   positive rapport with students is essential.

The successful candidate will start in September 2018.

Bedales School is an independent, co-educational, selective, day and boarding school for children aged 3-18. It is situated in Petersfield in Hampshire and there are 460 pupils on its roll. There are admission fees and scholarships and bursaries are available.

Bedales is a charitable trust and was founded in 1893 by J H Badley as a humane alternative to the authoritarian regimes of the late-Victorian public schools. Its founding ethos was, and still is, “Head, Hand and Heart.”
