Job details:

We wish to appoint either one or two singing tutors to take a significant number of lessons across our Senior and Preparatory Schools.  We currently have approximately two days of tutoring available in the Senior School and one day of tutoring in the Preparatory School from September 2019 and we would welcome applications from suitably qualified and experienced tutors.

Experience of tutoring in a school environment is an advantage but not essential but we are looking for someone who understands young voices, the changing voice, and is able to develop a healthy approach to singing based on a sound knowledge of vocal physiology. A wide knowledge of suitable repertoire for young students is essential, as is the ability to inspire and enthuse singers with a wide variety of musical tastes.  Good piano skills would be an advantage for this position but the prime requirement is an excellent knowledge of vocal technique.
