We are seeking to appoint a Visiting Music Tutor (VMT) in Voice to work at Mayfield School beginning in the Spring Term 2018. Mayfield has a long and successful history of individual vocal and choral music, and the new tutor will be contributing to this tradition.
The successful candidate will be capable of tutoring girls up to and beyond Grade 8, including preparation for Diploma and University Choral Scholarships, and should be familiar with ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall and LCM examinations.
Mayfield is a Catholic independent boarding and day School for 375 girls aged 11-18 years, set in 75 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside, less than 50 miles from London, 40 minutes from Gatwick and 15 minutes from the charming historic town of Tunbridge Wells. Our latest ISI inspection report states that the quality of education at Mayfield is "outstanding" and was described by Country Life magazine as "one of the finest schools in the land."
