Visiting Teacher of Acoustic and Electric Guitar

Forest SchoolE17 3PY, Waltham Forest

Due to a large demand for lessons, Forest School requires an additional Visiting Teacher of Acoustic/Electric Guitar to start in January 2022.  There is half a day of teaching available with students across the age range of the school.  This is a chance to join a thriving and busy Music Department where a huge number of pupils take instrumental lessons.  Acoustic and electric guitar students are involved in our Junior and Senior Soul Bands, Big Band, and in student-led ensembles, performing at regular concerts, Live Lounge events and the annual House Music Competition.

The Forest School Ethos

Forest is a humane, open-minded school with both feet on the ground, in which the pupils’ all-round personal development is outstanding and academic attainment is high.  It is, above all, a happy school which understands the rich inter-relationship between the curricular, the co-curricular and the pastoral.  There is boldness in the School’s character, a readiness to be forward-thinking and adaptable, with pride in what we are and excitement for what lies ahead.
