Job overview

Sutton Valence School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of Cello to give individual lessons, taking pupils from beginner to achieving their full musical potential during their time at the School. Sutton Valence is an independent 2 – 18 years, co-educational School with a thriving music department. It is expected that the majority of the lessons will be for pupils in the Preparatory School. The School has a fine tradition of music and provides a varied programme of performances. Candidates must be passionate about music, have a proven track record and excellent rapport with children. The current commitment is a few hours per week, however, the School would be looking to expand this. Accompanying skills would be advantageous as would experience working with ensembles.

An application and monitoring form can be found on the Sutton Valence School website.

Letters of application and a completed application form should be sent by the closing date of Monday 31st January 2022.
