This is an exciting opportunity to join the Technician for Electrical Installation team at Merton College.
We are looking to recruit an experienced and pro-active Visiting Teacher Technician. You will need to have a good understanding of Electrical Installation; a level two qualification would be advantageous.
The role will involve assisting academic staff in evenings and on Saturdays, with running the workshop including preparing materials and equipment and stores management.
· Wednesday evening: 3 hours (6-9) (L3 Practical)
· Thursday evening: 3 hours (6-9) (L2 Practical)
· Saturday = 6 hours (9-4) (Morning L3 and Afternoon L2)
The successful candidate will need to be organised and self-motivated, have a good understanding of stock control and be familiar with a variety of computer software programs.
