Job overview

The Tooting Campus of South Thames College are now looking for a Visiting Teacher to teach adult learners across different levels to ensure that they can achieve success in their Upholstery course.


You will deliver varied and effective teaching and learning sessions in which all members of the group are respected and able to participate and develop course objectives, using effective course and lesson plans designed to monitor learners’ progress.


We’re looking for someone who possesses a professional background in Upholstery and Recycling Furniture – someone who can bring knowledge of principles of traditional and modern upholstery techniques and who can work on a wide range of bespoke products. You will an excellent level of computer literacy and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.


A teaching qualification is not essential, however, we do ask that you are willing to achieve one in line with current regulations.
