Vocational / Work-based Assessors – Horticulture
£17.69 per hour

Due to growth in our Apprenticeship provision, Solihull College is looking to recruit Assessors in the School of Animal and Land Management.
Successful applicants must have relevant vocational experience in Horticulture and be able to manage a caseload of apprentices across the West Midlands. The key requirements of the role include vocational training, assessing competence in the workplace, maximising opportunities to enhance employability skills such as English and maths and building strong partnerships with employers.
Applicants must hold or be willing to work towards achieving the Assessor Award. A working knowledge of current vocational qualification developments in the occupational area would be an advantage. Basic PC skills are essential.
