Contract: 37 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only + 5 Days
Subject to a 6-Month Probationary Period
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Welfare and Attendance Officer to join Boston Spa Academy from April 2021. Located between York, Leeds and Harrogate, Boston Spa Academy is committed to the development of the whole student, the physical, aesthetic, emotional, moral, spiritual as well as the intellectual.
Working as part of The GORSE Academies Trust, Boston Spa Academy will ensure that students receive an outstanding education that focuses on aspiration, high expectations and personalisation. Together these non-negotiable values will instil in young people a self-belief that enables students to access the highest standard of higher educational provision and employment. Prior to joining The GORSE Academies Trust the school was inspected by Ofsted and was judged to be ‘Good’ in all areas. Boston Spa Academy are keen to appoint a Welfare and Attendance Officer to analyse and identify student absence and take appropriate action to support students back into the academy.
