20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time + one week)

We are looking for a part-time Welfare Assistant to join our professional and experienced welfare team. The successful applicant will be one of 7 Designated Safeguarding Leaders at the academy and will lead on allocated cases for families. Experience within safeguarding processes and procedures is essential and relevant training will be provided. A visit prior to application is highly recommended.

 If you have:

  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and/or proven experience of working successfully in a pastoral support role for children & families
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork
  • the ability to carry out home visits in the local vicinity
