Due to continued expansion of the work based area of Health and Social Care we are seeking to employ an Assessor. The role will include assessing students against qualification standards, delivering training sessions to support knowledge and understanding.


Health (Childcare and Health)

30 hours per week

£18,636-£20,322 (Actual Salary)

The post will report to the Programme Manager and will work closely with all assessors in Childcare & Health.

You will need to demonstrate a passion for achievement, commitment to quality and to supporting learners in all aspects of their educational studies. As an Assessor you should possess excellent communication skills; have the ability to work individually as well as contributing to a team.

This is a busy and varied post and so it is essential that you have the ability to maintain high service standards whilst under pressure.

A working knowledge of the Health and Social Care curriculum and experience of sector placement providers is essential as this will be a major part of the role.
