Location: Homebased

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic Work Based Tutor for Learning Unlimited with a specialism in Electrical Engineering apprenticeship frameworks.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out NVQ assessments within the workplace, including setting SMART targeting on reviews and completing action plans. Candidates must be competent to assess up to level 3 and previous experience of delivering at level 4 would be an advantage. The work based tutor will work with the learner to ensure all elements of a framework are completed to ensure timely success for the Learner. The applicant will be responsible for the whole learner journey including advice and guidance, the sign up process and employer liaison. This will also include direct liaison with Delivery teams in College.

Applicants must have occupational competence in Electrical Engineering and hold the Assessors A1 Award (TDLB D32/D33) or TAQA 301 Award and be willing to work towards the V1 Award (TDLB D34) TAQA 401 Award.  Training/Teaching/Basic Skills qualifications would be an advantage, although not essential. Excellent communication skills and a professional outlook are essential. Flexibility to work additional hours when required and undertake substantial travel is also essential.
