Work Experience and Careers Coordinator

We’re looking for a Work Experience and Careers Coordinator to join our team at Co-op Academy Southfield (a 11-19 Special School). The successful candidate will; 

●     Ensure the school is truly a destination-led educational establishment, achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks to the highest levels.

●     Contribute to student pathway and career advice and planning, as well as the achievement of individual Education, Health and Care plan outcomes

●     Organise events, trips and placements with employers and further education organisations to raise the awareness and aspirations of students and parents/carers

●     Build confidence, knowledge and understanding among employers to engage with and offer work experience opportunities to young people with SEND.

If you have experience of working with students and have a Qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) and Commitment to CPD, including an up-to-date awareness of development of all aspects of the role

Co-op Academy Southfield is part of The Co-op Academies Trust and are co-located with Co-op Academy Grange, a mainstream secondary Academy in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
