We currently have an opportunity for a Part Time Work Placement Officer to join our team.
This role will involve liaising with curriculum staff and external organisations in order to identify, monitor, review and arrange appropriate work placements for students. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out relevant administrative tasks and will arrange Disclosure and Barring Service Checks for students and may also carry out Health & Safety Risk Assessments.
The successful candidate must hold level 2 qualifications in literacy/English and numeracy/Maths. They will also bring with them to this role previous administration experience, an understanding of the role of workplace learning for FE students and a broad knowledge of Health and Safety and Insurance requirements within a workplace environment.
This post will involve working 18.5 hours per week and will be based at our Wirral Waters Campus with a requirement to work from other College sites on the Wirral from time to time as well as visiting employers therefore access to own transport is essential.
