South Staffordshire College are looking to recruit a Work Placement Project Leader to oversee the College’s work experience strategy, working with colleagues to ensure that students develop good employability skills in a safe learning environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with senior leaders and to shape the College’s work experience provision to meet the requirements of the T Levels. This will include engaging suitable employers willing to host students on work placements and preparing the students to be work ready and be able to progress towards occupationally specific outcomes.

The successful applicant will be required to manage a team of work placement staff and work collaboratively with curriculum teams and MIS to ensure compliance with College and ESFA policies and procedures.

The successful applicants must have experience of working in a similar role and a track record of carrying out due diligence checks and engaging employers. 

It is essential that the applicants have access to a car and can demonstrate employment within a vocational area.
