Grade:£24,000  Full time – 37 hours per week

Accountable to:Head of Marketing and Communications 

Role:Providing executive support to the Executive Principal and Head of Marketing and Communications.


NB: The post-holder will be expected to work at any WRA Trust academy and on certain days may be required to work beyond normal hours in order to attend meetings.

Purpose of job:
To work across the academies within the Trust providing professional, responsive and confidential administrative support to the Executive Principal and the Head of Marketing and Communications, assisting with the planning and prioritisation of their workload across the WRA Trust to ensure the achievement of identified operational and strategic objectives, and to optimise the use of their time and resources. 

General Duties and Responsibilities:·  

Develop an excellent understanding of, and demonstrate commitment to, the WRA Trust’s aims, objectives and values in order to assist the work of the Executive Principal and Head of Marketing and Communications
·  Diary management of the Executive Principal and Head of Marketing and Communications
·  To manage and schedule the WRA Trust calendar of meetings and events
·  To manage the Trust communications, including correspondence, emails, telephone enquiries, messages and visitors/meetings so that responses are made, actions are followed up within appropriate timescales and information disseminated as appropriate
·  Provide support to HR in the recruitment of staff 
·  To support, collate information and format reports and documents to disseminate to each individual academy’s Local Accountability Board and the WRA Trust Board
·  Produce Powerpoints, organograms and format reports producing high quality and professionally presented documentation in a variety of formats  
·  Support in the planning and coordination of trust training days
·  Organise and service meetings and events as required by the Executive Principal and Head of Marketing and Communications, including minute taking of a sensitive and confidential nature and gathering of appropriate evidence for review.
·  Discreet in the handling of sensitive information
·  Work with the Clerk to the Governors to ensure smooth operation of meetings and that paperwork is distributed on time
·  Organise training events on behalf of external agencies, such as Teaching Leaders, within the WRA academies
·  Any other duties commensurate with the post
