The senior leaders and governors of Horbury Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our motivated and supportive team in September 2019.  Applications from NQTs and experienced teachers are most welcome.  

We are looking for an excellent classroom teacher to provide a high quality learning experience for all children.  You will need to be a team player who can work collaboratively with good interpersonal skills.

Horbury Primary Academy is a friendly village school with well behaved, polite children who are eager to learn.  We can offer a real sense of teamwork with hardworking, enthusiastic and supportive staff and governors.  

Horbury Primary Academy is a founding member of the Accord MAT, working in equal partnership with Horbury Academy, Middlestown Primary Academy, and Ossett Academy and Accord Sixth Form.

Horbury Primary Academy is a mixed nursery, infant and junior academy, situated on the outskirts of Wakefield.

The academy has a broad, balanced and creative curriculum which aims to ensure that children are engaged in their learning and above all enjoy coming to school. It benefits from enthusiastic, caring and professional staff who work hard to ensure this happens.
