We are working a Primary School based in Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent, as they look to recruit an experienced teacher with excellent classroom and behaviour management for Y5 cover.
The School is looking for a KS2 teacher to work with a small class of Y5 pupils, ideally full-time, but could accommodate someone able to commit to 4 days per week if required with the day off being flexible.
The role will start as soon as a suitable candidate is found, ideally before January, and will continue on an ongoing basis, potentially for the rest of the academic year.
In applying for the role, you must have experience working with challenging behaviour and a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
For the right person, this could be a very rewarding role but the headteacher is keen to appoint a teacher who is ready to commit to the role in its entirety.
An SEN background or recent SEN based experience may be advantageous for this role.
Unfortunately, the school can’t support an NQT through their induction year for this position.
If you are interested in the above role, please contact Dave Sellar (lead consultant for North Staffordshire – Primary) today on 01782 987 640, by clicking the ‘Apply Now’ button or by sending an up-to-date CV and covering letter to email@example.com
If you’re interested in working on supply but aren’t currently available to commit to a longer term or full-time role then we would still be keen to speak to you.
Ideally, you will be available for a regular 3 – 5 days per week and be able to commute up to 30 minutes with access to your own transport (For those on public transport, you should expect to commute up to 45 minutes to ensure regular work).
We have opportunities available for teachers looking for day-to-day supply cover, mid-term, long term or permanent work so whatever work you’re interested in, we’re confident we can help.
