Y5 Teacher

We are currently working with a primary school located on the border of Handsworth to source a Year 5 class teacher to start in January 2018.  This position will be full time as a full class teacher with all duties included. The school are looking for a teacher with engaging and inspiring qualities that can provide quality teaching in their current teacher’s absence. 

The School was considered ‘Good’ in their most recent Ofsted inspection and is one we have worked closely with for a number of years. The SLT in the school have all received outstanding in aspects which were assessed by Ofsted and are very supportive of new and current staff. 

About the Role: 

· Monday to Friday in Year 5 – until the end of the academic year

· Full-time, long term placement – perfect to ensure regular and consistent work

· Starts in January 2018

· NQTs welcome to apply

· KS2 experience is essential

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

· Be eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa) 

· Must hold relevant teaching qualifications (Bachelor of Education / PGCE) 

· Have previous experience teaching the UK curriculum 

· Have recent classroom experience as teacher in the UK (essential)

· Be confident in using ICT in their professional role 

· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

· Possess valid references, DBS/police checks
