The successful applicant will:

 

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;

• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and

• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking a passionate Year 1/2 multiage classroom teacher for semester 2 this year. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to meet the following criteria: appropriate qualifications and experience, effective communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to apply innovative and creative classroom practices, and a clear understanding and application of the Australian Curriculum and BCE's ELT strategies. St Sebastian's School is situated in the inner city suburb of Yeronga.  We are a small Catholic primary school with approximately 210 students. We value a supportive, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment that caters for the uniqueness of each individual and their ability to engage and be successful in their learning. Some classes may consist of multi-age groupings.
