Smart Teachers is recruiting on behalf of a fantastic, over-subscribed, one-form entry Primary school in Enfield (EN3). This small school is searching for an experienced Year 1 Primary Teacher to join them from September for one academic year. The school fosters a community feel with a huge emphasis on encouraging children and families to thrive. They pride themselves on individuality and due to being part of the London Diocese Board for Schools, have connections with all the Church of England Primary schools across London. 

A special request from the children- they have asked for a teacher who “makes us laugh, uses kind words, is polite, is kind and caring and is adventurous” 

About the Role

· Year 1 Teacher

· Full-time

· Commences in September

· Fixed Term Contract – 1 academic year

· Planning and Delivering lessons to 30 Year 1 students (TA’s within the class)

· Salary up to £36,000 (MPS)

· Dedicated PPA time within the school day

· Opportunities for CPD and access to training through the London Borough of Enfield

In order to be considered for this role, the Primary Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

· Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree

· Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum

· OS trained teachers welcome to apply

· Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

· Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
