Smart Teachers is recruiting for a motivated and holistic Year 1 Teacher / KS1 Teacher to join an over-subscribed one form entry primary school in Enfield, North London as soon as possible. This is a caring school filled with a positive atmosphere and a close knit community of staff, pupils and parents. Pupils are considered one of the schools best assets, as they take pride in ensuring children are safe, educated and encouraged to fulfil their full potential. The successful Year 1 Teacher / KS1 Teacher will join the school as soon as possible on a full-time long term contract for the academic year, with the potential to become permanent.

About the Role:

  • Year 1 Teacher / KS1 Teacher
  • As a dedicated and holistic KS1 Teacher, you will be teaching a class of Year 1 pupils
  • Planning and delivering creative lessons
  • Starting as soon as possible on a full time long term contract for the academic year, with the potential to go permanent
  • Daily rate from £140 per day (depending on experience)

About You:

In order to be considered for this role, the Year 1 Teacher / KS1 Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a PGCE / Bachelor of Education or equivalent overseas qualification
  • Have recent experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent teaching-based references and valid DBS/police checks
