Year 1 teacher - maternity cover

Bigland Green is seeking to recruit a suitable maternity cover for Year 1. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the national curriculum and have the necessary skill set for effective implementation. They will have a good grasp of adapting teaching to ensure that all pupils learn more and remember more. Overtime, pupils will make good progress and achieve the desired outcomes. They will have an insight for ‘SMART’ working and be a great team player. The post is open to teachers at different stages in their career. There will be in-house training on phonics and early reading. Depending on the availability of the successful candidate the post can start in April or May.
