ABC Teachers are working with a happy and thriving school in the Frankley area of south Birmingham, to recruit a long term Year 1 teacher to join them from September 2018. The position will be full time and will continue for a minimum of 2 terms.
The school itself is a positive and supportive environment where staff and teachers work well as a team to ensure every child has access to a creative and challenging education. The school also benefits from interactive resources within each classroom, which you will be responsible for utilising, and is overseen by a passionate Head teacher who is continually looking to take the school to the next level of success.
The successful candidate must:
- Hold valid QTS
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be consistent in maintaining high standards
- Show devotion towards pupil development
- Have up to date knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
What to do next:
To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
