ABC Teachers are working in close partnership with a primary school in Sparkhill, Birmingham to recruit a full time Year 1 class teacher from January 2020. The position will be full time and will continue until the end of the summer term and there is potential for this position to become permanent for the right candidate.

The school itself is a busy and vibrant primary which caters for a broad range of pupils, including a high number of EAL pupils. The school benefits from interactive resources across the school, which will be available at your disposal, and a dedicated team who work well together to maintain a supportive environment. 

The successful candidate will need to be an organised, flexible and creative teacher who can quickly build professional relationships. You will be able to share your ideas and expertise for the benefit of the children and you will be able to engage with a broad range of pupils. 

Both newly qualified and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this position. 

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and recent, referenceable school-based experience (within the last 5 years).
