Cambridge International School (CIS) Armenia is seeking an enthusiastic primary school teacher to join our team as the Year 2 class teacher in January 2023.
Due to a sudden family circumstance, we must fill this position for Term 2. Previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply.
CIS Armenia is located in the heart of Yerevan, the vibrant and cosmopolitan capital city of the beautiful country of Armenia.
CIS Armenia is an international school which provides high-quality, affordable education for students from Early Years to Year 13 (3 to 18 years of age). The school follows the Cambridge International Curriculum and prides itself on high academic standards whilst developing the student's character in a caring, creative and respectful teaching and learning environment.
The school currently enrolls 205 students from EY to Year 12 (expanding to year 13). It is a single-form entry school, with a maximum of 18 students in each class. It has a great community spirit. The school and teachers are very well supported by the parents. The school is expanding, with plans to move into a specifically designed and built a new campus in the next three years. As a result, there are excellent professional development and career progression opportunities.
Qualifications required:
· Bachelor of Education (Primary), or a Degree plus PGCE or PGDE
· QTS or equivalent teacher registration
· Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (preferred)
· International teaching experience (preferred)
