ABC teachers are looking to recruit a qualified Year 2 higher level teaching assistant to work 5 days per week at a 3 form entry primary school in Smethwick. This role will be 5 full days to start after February half-term. The expectations for this are as follows;
· HLTA qualification or 2 years relevant experience
· Experience teaching in Year 2
· Up to date knowledge of the national curriculum
· Able to adapt in different situations
· Experience marking
· Team player
Located in Smethwick, this allows an easy commute for both drivers and non-drivers with links from Dudley and Sandwell. The school has the privilege of being set in the middle of an extensive green field site. This gives the pupils the opportunity to experience a variety of different learning environments and gives the school a spacious, calm atmosphere. Their outdoor facilities include two playgrounds, a large sports field, a garden and woodland area. Inside they have large classrooms and facilities which include a purpose built gym, well-resourced library, a permanent stage, computing suite and community room.
