Wetherby School are looking for a career minded and enthusiastic Year 2 class teacher to join our team from September 2019. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, imaginative and driven teacher who works with equal efficacy independently and as part of a team. Applicants will join an innovative, forward-thinking and committed team. The position would suit dynamic teachers who are able to inspire pupils of all abilities to develop their full potential. There is a possibility of a leadership position for the correct candidate. 

Experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 or 2 is essential as is a thorough up-to-date knowledge and experience of the curriculum. What is also important is your ability to interact and support children in a positive way to foster their enthusiasm for learning, and to have the skills and maturity required to take on the Year 2 teaching duties and responsibilities.

Wetherby School is an Independent boys’ school (ages 2 ½ - 8) in Notting Hill with 360 boys. It is heavily oversubscribed and is extremely successful in securing pupils’ entry into the Preparatory School of their choice. It is part of the Alpha Plus Group of schools, which is one of the country's leading educational groups.

Wetherby School is based in Kensington and Chelsea, London. The independent pre-preparatory school admits boys aged 4-8. There are currently around 360 boys enrolled in the school, which occupies a listed townhouse.

In 2002, the school became part of the Alpha Plus Group. It was founded in 1951 and moved to its current location in 1971.
