Smart Teachers is recruiting for an engaging Year 2 Teacher to join an inviting primary school in Stanmore (HA7) as soon as possible. The selected Year 2 Teacher will join the school with immediate effect on a long term, part time basis contracted through until the end of the academic year, July 2017. There is also the possibility that this role will continue into 2018, which could lead to a generous offer of permanent placement.

About the Role

  • Year 2 Teacher
  • Planning and delivering creative and interactive lessons
  • Immediate start, contracted through until the end of the academic year
  • Long term part time position, 3 days per week  from Wednesday to Friday
  • There is potential for this role to be extended beyond July 2017 and progress into a permanent position
  • Daily rate from £135 up to £170 per day

In order to be considered for this role, the Year 2 Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • PGCE / Bachelor of Education or equivalent overseas teaching qualification
  • Have proven experience teaching the UK KS1 curriculum or equivalent
  • NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
