Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is holding QTS and recent teaching experience in KS1.  

The role 

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a full time, Year 3 Class Teacher to work in a two-form entry school in Isleworth. The candidate will be working with a Year 3 class as Year 3 Class Teacher from September 2021 – July 2022. The role is likely to be made permanent should the school and Year 3 Class teacher be happy for this to continue.  The class has been characterised as a ‘joy and pleasure’ to teach due to their enthusiastic approach to learning and understanding. The children particularly enjoy when lessons are interactive and involve using real life examples to help aid consolidation of the material.  The Year 3 Class Teacher will be required to deliver stimulating lessons and foster a real passion for educating the lively bunch of students who thrive with the right teacher in place. 

The school 

The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and we have received extremely positive feedback from staff who have worked there before. Many candidates have taught this particular class when the school have required cover and there has never been any complaints with regards to behaviour and disruption within class. Positive feedback has also been related to the team of staff as they work really closely together to ensure that all pupils received interactive and exciting lessons. The schools really basis their ethos on ‘fun learning’ and have found that this focus has shown real differences to the education outcomes of the pupils. There are many opportunities to progress within the school with the regular CPD courses, whereby the leadership wish to better each member of staff which will ultimately transfer onto the pupils’ education.  The suitable Year 3 Class Teacher will be surrounded by great facilities, including their extensive grounds and colourful classrooms, each fitted with interactive white boards. There is a car park should you wish to drive, many bus stops located very close to the school and the nearest train station is Hounslow Central Station.

Requirements 

To be considered for the Year 3 Class Teacher, you must:

• Hold QTS

• Have recent experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 3

• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have a valid visa)

• Deliver lessons in a stimulating and enthusiastic manner
