Smart Teachers is recruiting for a dynamic and committed Year 3 Teacher / KS2 Teacher to join an independent Montessori school in Canary Wharf. The school follows the broad principals of the Montessori methods of teaching and learning however teachers do not need prior Montessori experience. Starting immediately the successful Year 3 Teacher / KS2 Teacher will be covering a teacher on sick leave at least until December 2016, with the possibility of extending until July 2017.

In order to be considered for this role, the Year 3 Teacher / KS2 Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Must have recent experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
