Year 3 Teacher

Isambard Kingdom Brunel Primary School (IKB) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Year 3 Teacher to start in September 2023.  

Location: Wellington, Somerset

Salary: Upwards from Main Pay Scale 3.

Contract: Permanent

IKB opened it's doors in 2020 and is growing year on year and will eventually be a 420 place primary school alongside our Bright Sparks Nursery. September 2023 will see our original IKB pupils start Year 3 and we are looking for the right person to lead our pupils in to their next key stage.

The successful candidate will join our outstanding Castle Partnership Trust comprising two secondary schools – The Castle School and Court Fields, our sister primary Wellesley Park and soon to open Orchard Grove Primary School. The Trust offers a range of excellent opportunities to both experienced and newly qualified teachers.  

You should be a committed and high-quality teacher able to take on the unique challenges a brand-new school offers. You will be working closely with the Primary Executive Headteacher and the Curriculum Lead to develop the KS2 curriculum and shared values which will be reflected in our teaching and how our children learn.
