Job overview

Greenfield E-ACT Academy is a positive learning environment where each individual child is important. We have high expectations of all children and respect for each other is at the core of everything we do.

In September 2012 Greenfield was judged a Good school by OfSTED and our results demonstrate that at all levels and subjects, progress is significantly higher than local and national averages. We have spent the last year refining our journey and adjusting to the demands of the new curriculum and assessment systems; September is a very exciting time for us and we now have a teaching vacancy for an excellent Class Teacher.

Our vision is to become an Outstanding school offering the very best education for all children in an environment that is both supportive and challenging - we are looking for dynamic and motivated teachers who can help us on that journey.

We are looking for:

• An outstanding and creative classroom practitioner with high expectations for pupil achievement.

• A highly organised, hardworking and professional role model

• A complete commitment to ensuring that every child succeeds.

• A teacher who puts assessment (formative, summative, AfL) at the heart of all that they do

• A dedicated team player who is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.

• A positive individual who is able to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new ideas.

Greenfield can offer you:

• Wonderful, engaging children and a chance to make a real difference.

• A supportive management team with a clear vision for school improvement.

• Excellent opportunities to develop professionally and grow in your role.

• Development opportunities across E-ACT Academies and The Malago Learning Partnership schools.

• Involvement in innovative educational projects which lead to National and International recognition and awards.

We have a solid track record of training and supporting NQTs and they are welcomed to apply for the role.

If you are interested in applying for this post you are encouraged to contact or visit the school. Please contact Mrs Gemma McKay for a visit date and application pack.

More information about the school can be found on our school website.
