ABC Teachers are working closely with a popular school in Selly Oak to recruit a part time teacher to join their team on a long-term basis; the role will be starting in January 2019 and will continue until the end of the academic year on a 0.6 job share basis.
The school is a thriving 2 form entry which aims to cater for pupils of all abilities and backgrounds, including a high number of EAL pupils. The school is overseen by a passionate Head teacher who is continually looking to take the school to the next level of success whilst maintaining consistent relationships within the local community.
The successful candidate will be a creative and forward-thinking teacher who can act as a positive role model to both colleagues and pupils. You will be an excellent team player, have strong communication skills and you will be able to motivate and inspire all children.
What to do next:
To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
