Smart Teachers is recruiting for a primary trained teacher to join a long standing private school in Brisbane. Well located for all residents of Brisbane, notably those living south of the river. With an understanding of contemporary frameworks and the expectations of high performing Independent schools, you will be a collaborative, lifelong learner who enjoys PD and strives to be an “expert teacher”.

  • Maternity leave contract
  • To commence August 6th with some handover days the week prior

About the Location:

Brisbane is the third largest city in Australia. Queensland's capital strikes a nice balance between the bustle of the bigger capitals, with less overall crowding and typically sunnier weather to boot. Located one hour from the North and South Coasts.

About You:

In order to be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

  • Be eligible to work in Australia (must have a visa)
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in education
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers 
  • Be willing to contribute to co-curricular life and the school community
  • Must be respectful of the school values and ethos
  • Possess and provide appropriate reference details and police clearances
