The successful Primary Academy based in the Hyde area of Tameside are seeking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher to join their friendly team from January 2019 until the end of the academic year to cover a staff maternity.  This is a two-form entry primary academy within a highly supportive multi-academy trust.

This primary academy school are committed to ensuring that all our pupils develop to the maximum of their potential academically, socially and emotionally, preparing them to successfully meet the varying demands of an ever-changing society.  

This school is an active part of a very successful multi-academy trust of schools and as such provides teachers the opportunity to work within other schools through training and development.

In this Academy children really do come first. Their priority is to deliver high quality teaching and learning whilst at the same time providing rich and truly enjoyable learning experiences for their community of children. Everything they do as a school is to ensure that children achieve their very best. They have a wonderfully supportive ethos which ensures that our pupils are well behaved, hardworking, friendly and kind. This school are deeply aware that children only get one chance at their primary education and believe that it is their job to ensure that they all reach for the highest levels of personal achievement and development.

The person this school are seeking will be:  

· Be a self-motivated, enthusiastic, imaginative and creative, teacher                                                              

· Be able to liaise with other bodies/ organisations on a professional level                                                 

· Have the ability to engage with pupils to develop their learning                                                                           

· Be able to work within a large team to deliver an exciting curriculum including outside experiences
