We are seeking to appoint a Year 6 Primary Teacher on a temporary contract, ideally with upper KS2 experience, to support the raising of attainment at the end of year 6.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an excellent and inspirational classroom practitioner
  • Have a good understanding of the curriculum and classroom practice in Key Stage 2
  • Have high expectations for all children and a clear understanding of assessment for learning
  • Have a strong commitment to working in partnership with pupils, staff, parents and the community
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved.
  • Have an understanding of assessing without levels
  • Have a good sense of humour
  • Be willing to take risks

Pheasant Bank Academy is a 7 – 11 three form entry junior school serving the area of Rossington. We are a very friendly school, with wonderful children and lots going on.
