Year 6 Teacher wanted!

We are a Good and rapidly growing school with determination that we will be Outstanding!  Our children deserve nothing less than this.

We are splitting our current Year 5 class into two small Year 6 classes of approximately 18 children each.  We are looking for an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher who wants to join an already strong Year 6 Team to continue securing significantly above national average key stage 2 outcomes.

Heybridge offers excellent CPD both from the brilliant team here and also from a strong academy trust (TKAT).

Our children are the biggest selling point for the school (staff a close second to the children).

Visits to the school strongly recommended, please contact the office on 01621 854082.

We reserve the right to close the application process early if suitable candidates apply.

Our school ethos is captured in three words:

Aspire, Believe, Achieve

We teach the values of good manners, positivity, resilience, trying hard, pride and good decision making.  Our 'Heybridge Pledge' has been developed with the children to reflect these values and show how we work together as a whole school community.

We place the children at the heart of everything we do at our school.  We continually develop our curriculum so that every child has a rich and varied school experience.  With our support each child will develop their academic knowledge and learn a wide range of life skills to equip them for all aspects of their future.

Our staff are appointed for their passion, their enthusiasm and their imagination in communicating with children to ensure that every child in their class is engaged, excited and challenged by the learning experience at all times.

Heybridge Primary School currently has 264 pupils ranging from 4 - 11 years, across ten classes.  We have a bright modern building which is well equipped and is set within unusually generous grounds with playing fields and gardens.  We are acknowledged as a friendly school within our community and benefit from easy access to local amenities.

In December 2012 we converted to Academy status and became part of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT).  The School shares good links with other primary and secondary schools in the Maldon area, so is able to provide wider learning experiences and networking opportunities with our neighbours and also schools within the TKAT family.
