Year 6 Class Teacher

Pinkwell is a large and vibrant community school with delightful children and extensive grounds. We are keen to appoint experienced Class Teachers for Year 6 or NQTs to join our ambitious and successful team.

At our school all teachers are guided and supported by an experienced Year Group Leader along with the support of their Year Group Teachers. We work hard to provide an environment that considers your workload so that you have time to plan, prepare and enjoy teaching the children in your class.

You will have a class Learning Support Assistant, administrative support and PPA/NQT time taught by specialist teachers. If you are an NQT, The Elliot Foundation has a bespoke NQT programme that provides you with the opportunity to meet other Elliot NQTs to share and collaborate and be part of a larger team. Once you have completed your NQT year teachers move on to the RQT programme. As a large school we can be flexible on the year group you would like to teach.

Pinkwell School is determined to provide an excellent education for its students. We know we can only do this by providing an environment in which teachers enjoy working and feel valued and supported by Senior Leaders to do well. Many of our teachers eventually move on to middle and senior leadership positions due to the opportunities we provide to support a teacher’s career.
