I am looking for a teacher who wants to take on a role to the north east of Derby, it will be 4 days per week in a year 6 class of mixed ability. The right candidate for the school will demonstrate a good knowledge of the curriculum as well as their ability to lead a class through SATs. Ideally the teacher will also be willing to get more involved in the school as a whole, potentially helping out in lunch time clubs and the likes across the school.
The school have stressed that although this is listed as a part time position, they would be willing to extend the contract of a teacher who fits in well and shows good performance within the classroom. The school is located ideally for those in North and East Derbyshire as well as in the city of Derby, they have on-site parking facilities as well as nearby bus stops. The school are willing to take on an NQT, and will provide adequate resources and attention to the right candidate, whether they’re an NQT or an experienced teacher.
The right candidate will show their keen attitude and ability at the interview stage for this role, and aim to keep this attitude throughout the duration of their placement. Doing so will almost guarantee a longer term position at the school.
