TEACHER

Year 6

Temporary Part-time

(2 days per week, Monday and Tuesday)

Beginning of term 4 to end of 2019 school year


St Agnes’ Primary School has a Temporary Part-time teaching position available.


Applicants must demonstrate:


  • Commitment to the practice of the Catholic faith and appropriate Religious Education qualifications;
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school;
  • Understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate and provide for a diverse range of ability;
  • Effective classroom practice that fosters independent learners;
  • Willingness to contribute positively as part of a professional learning community;
  • Ability to creatively use ICT to enhance a rich learning environment;
  • Willingness to meet the requirements of the Diocese Work Teach and Lead document
  • A current NSW Working with Children check
  • NESA Accreditation

requirements, and a current resume with the contact details of three

referees, one of whom is the Parish Priest or Minister from your usual place

of worship.

Curriculum

Curriculum implementation at St Agnes Primary School is delivered within a culture of learning that builds capacity to deepen insight and meaning. The key learning areas of the NSW Board of Studies Curriculum guide curriculum content that is administered via a pedagogy that is designed to empower the learner. Staff at the school are continually differentiating the curriculum to meet individual needs and as a consequence a flagship enrichment program is in place to cater for those students with particular skills in the performing arts and sport.
