High Level Teaching Assistant Required
Required for 32.5 Hours per week; term time only
The Primary School is a popular, high achieving, over-subscribed primary school located within easy reach of main commuter routes, and yet just minutes by car from the South Yorkshire countryside.
This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented higher level teaching assistant who holds the HLTA qualification or has proven experience. The successful candidate will be required to prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals, small groups or the class as a whole.
This would suit a candidate who is patient with a calm nature, great organisation skills and a passion for making a difference.
You will be an effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management and committed to ensuring all students succeed and fulfil their potential.
You will need to hold an NVQ 3 or above with GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics as a minimum to apply, and have recent and relevant classroom experience. You will have high expectations of work and behaviour; be able to work effectively in a team and be flexible, as well as being able to show initiative.
