ABC Teachers are looking to recruit an experienced Year 6 Teacher to work in a ‘good’ school in Sandwell. This role is for 5 days a week and you will be seen as the pupil’s class teacher. With SATs coming up the school are keen to make sure their results are positive so are ideally looking for a strong, determined individual. You will have a TA in the classroom with you that will be running intervention groups in both Literacy and Numeracy. The role is due to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year, however could become permanent for the right candidate. 

With this role, you are expected to plan, assess and mark to a high standard. You will need to have a strong input in the assessment side to make sure you are raising attainments. You will also be expected to attend 2 staff meetings a week, one with the phase and one with the whole school. Located in Sandwell, this makes it easily accessible for both drivers and non-drivers from Dudley and Birmingham.

· Knowledge of the Year 6 National curriculum

· Up to date knowledge on the national curriculum

· Experience delivering interventions
