We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic youth theatre assistant to support and assist at our Saturday performing arts academy CAPA. The suitable candidate will join our team on Saturdays teaching students aged 9-18, from 9:00am-4:00pm.
The right person must have:
- Enhanced DBS, or be willing to get one
- Passion and energy for performance work
- Enjoy working with children aged 9-18
- A base in or around Kingston-Upon-Thames
The assistant will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of theatre workshops/rehearsals across a term
- Supporting the Director as necessary throughout the workshop/rehearsals
- Taking a record of attendance
- Assisting with any set up before and after sessions
- Joining in with and leading group games and exercises

Coombe Boys’ School is a comprehensive secondary school offering a broad and balanced curriculum to local boys aged 11-16. We also have a mixed sixth form run in close collaboration with Coombe Girls’ School. There are approximately 1100 students on roll including the sixth form. The school has held academy status since 2012, as part of the Coombe Academy Trust (CAT) which also incorporates Coombe Girls’ School, Knollmead Primary School, Green Lane Primary & Nursery School, and Robin Hood Primary & Nursery School.
