100 Essential Lists for Teachers

By Duncan Grey

Second edition Continuum pound;6.99

A list made up of lists. Now there’s a thought. Actually, it depends what you mean by lists. Some of these lists - and they’re none the worse for it - are actually pages of advice split up into bullet points. The 100 topics in Duncan Grey’s second book are amazingly diverse. They include discipline, ICT, medical emergencies, and “Hints for a healthier you”. The latter include: “Don’t spring up too quickly after bending down to talk to a pupil.” (He doesn’t say why. One reason is that you may faint, having momentarily exceeded your heart’s ability to get blood into your head. I know. I’ve done it.) Every teacher of every level of experience will find something helpful here.
