This invaluable pack provides everything you need to make effective use of ICT in food technology teaching at key stages 3 and 4. It comprises a CD-Rom, compatible with Windows 95, 98 and 2000, and is cross-referenced to a booklet.

Much of the time-consuming preparation has been done and the vast range of activities can be used either as they are, or customised to enhance existing schemes of work.

Products have been carefully selected to represent a wide range of foods, attractive to pupils. Investigations into areas such as nutritional claims and economy ranges are simple toundertake, as ready-to-use templates are provided for costing and analysis.

Extension tasks and homework activities are also included, often with simple but immensely useful writing frames, which make them accessible for a range of abilities.

Specific sections are included on a whole range of ICT skills, including multi-media, digital cameras, desk-top publishing and the internet; direct links to appropriate websites make research faster. Once you have purchased the single-user version, you will no doubt want to take up the option of upgrading to a 10-user licence or a whole site licence.
