The man who first put affordable computers in British homes, Alan Sugar, has set his sights on schools after his PC company, Viglen, signed a licensing agreement with USfirm Classroom Connect to provide curriculum services and materials via the Internet. Viglen intends to “localise” Classroom Connect for the UK market. The service includes the Quest adventure learning expeditions that use satellite communications and the Net to link students with scientists and explorers.
