Each of these books offers a tight match to the new AQA A2 options. They draw on material from the first editions which matched the last round of optional modules.
If you are now teaching Microbes and Disease you could get by with the first edition text, Microbes, Medicine and Biotechnology. Applied Ecology includes some new material, but the earlier Food, Farming and Environment is still adequate. Behaviour and Populations draws on material from two books supporting the old options.
As with the core A2 book above, each book also contains material linked with the synoptic elements of the A-level examination and a bank of questions from past AQA examinations. A good buy, if you do not hold appropriate texts already.
