Using iStopMotion in Schools is a brief but helpful introduction to the possibilities of iStopMotion, a graphics application that allows teachers and students to create short films and animated sequences. Basic requirements are an Apple computer, a digital camera and imagination. Possible outcomes are varied and ingenious - you can make the poem “Jabberwocky” come alive or turn a dull lump of clay into a moving human figure, transform regular polygons into their irregular cousins and investigate their properties, or speed up the drift of clouds into a rapid celestial ballet.
