Asda adoption

12th March 2010, 12:00am

Schools will be “adopted” by every Asda store in the country in an attempt to introduce children to the world of employment. Staff from the supermarket will provide “real” work experience to 15,000 children aged 14 to 16. Chief operating officer Andy Clarke said: “I’m determined that we do everything we can now to help young people get a foot in the door”.
